He meant did you burn out before the car started to accelerate. And actually, burning out helps on no matter what tires you are using, it mostly depends on the type of road you are driving on. A simple road made from cheap asphalt you will almost lose traction due to improperly sealed content in the road. However, on a road made from smooth concrete, a warm tire (i.e., from burning out) will always grip better then a cold one.

YES!! Since you lowered your car and it goes slower, it only makes sense if you raise your car it will go faster. Try to get the suspension from an Xterra and put it on your car! You'll go really fast!! =X.

Then get some foil and electrical tape and make sure your aerodynamics are in order.

Sorry, my gf says im a jackass. She's probably right.
