You're too poor for an engine swap, but you're going to s/c it? Save your money, enjoy your G, and save towards a good car.

I thought about s/c'ing my G at one point, but am glad I left it more or less stock (I/H/E) and bought a Z06, Viper, and a few other real race cars. Aside form my G, my Z06 (not stock) is my 'slowest' vehicle, and it is a MONSTER compared to my G. Trust me, if you're poor, don't mod it, enjoy it and save for a real 'monster'.

 

Whats a Z06, $70k+. If you make the right decissions you could have a bad azz G that could keep up. With the right amount of $$$ and knowhow. A car should never be underestimated. Also let me remind you. A car does not win races, a driver does.

You can pick up a used Z06 that's been nicely modded for 30k.

I was inside a TT 350z once - very nice, but even stock my Z06 would rape it a new one at 1/4 throttle. Plus the Z06 has more 'soul' - it's hard to describe, but it's one of the few cars I've had that makes me say 'damn, now this is a car!'.....it's something you have to experience to understand.

 

What year is your Z06? I was going to get an 04 before I compromised on the the G35. It's hard to convince someone on a car without a backseat
