it's a tsb, but since you are past your warranty you will probably have to pay the dealer to do the tsb

the mechanic that did mine told me that the first time she did it it took her a good 1 1/2 or so (per side), but she said once you do it once it takes like 30 min to do the whole thing. But i know the delaership doesn't charge that much. I think like $150 or so if you are out of warranty. This girl was my friend so i paid a discount.

Yeah speaking of per side, make sure you know for sure which side the bolt nbeeds to be changed. last thing you need is to to go through all that and find out the bolt you changed was the good one!

Dude, that should be fixed for FREE. Doesn't matter if u pass your warranty period. I thought Infiniti stood for its Customer Service?

When I had my 1996 Teg. They fixed my Check Engine light for FREE under the extended warranty crap back in 2004. And the Corp. even refuded me all the parts I bought trying to fix it myself.

If it wasn't for the letter they sent me, I would have spent over 1grand trying to get it fixed because all the stupid Joe Smoe shop didn't know what was wrong. They kept telling me to replace the PCV valve etc etc...

Turns out, some 1996 model with the OBDII had issues and Acura decided to take care of the cars that had Check Engine problems.

Thats service right there on a 6+ year old car...

I doubt they would do that these days. CS has gone down with all dealers these days.
