Air filter R&R question

I am trying to replace my air filter (in the engine, not the cabin air quality filter). I found 2 latches on top and 1 on each side and I loosened them. I still can't get the opening far enough apart to remove the old filter and replace it. Do I just pull apart harder or am I missing something? This seems like it would be simple. The owner's manual was no help.
Thanks.

I loosen the clamp on the flex hose, disconnect the Mass air sensor plug, remove the one screw right side, and roll the filter housing up and toward the engine, allowing me to clean the housing assy as well as easier access to the filter itself.

I believe there was a write up. Use the search function and see if it helps.

Thanks Beebo. That's quite involved for an air filter. I would never have figured it out.

It'll be obvious the way it fits. I posted an air filter replacement DIY video that you can watch here:

Thanks.
The first time you do this is the hardest. Only takes about 5 minutes each time after that.
