synthetic versus regular oil

I have a 2004 G35 sedan and am contemplating going with 100% synthetic oil. The dealer uses a semi-synthetic blend. Any comments?

I use Synthetic, always have since I owned my G.

Youll get different opinions per member, and this topic has been discussed WAY TOO many times.

regular oil is fine, but synthetic wont break down as quickly and is more resistant to wear from heat and such.

Synthetic will allow you to run longer intervals between changes. I change mine more often than I need to. Tests have been done on synthetic showing very little difference between 5k and 10k miles.

So, to each his own. I run synthetic, keep an eye on my levels.
