New here. Question on 2003 G35

I currently have a 2003 Cadillac STS and I am getting sick of adding oil to it between oil changes. Supposedly this is normal for the Northstar motor.
Anyway I am going to sell it and I am looking at a 2003 G35 Sedan and really like this car. I saw the TSB on the 2005 plus engines on oil consumption. Does this problem affect the 2003's?

Also is there anything else I should worry about besides brakes and rattles on an 03?

Thanks

Don't worry about the oil consumption. I mean come on, why would you let something like that deter you away from a great car. Just get it replaced.

However since you are looking at an 03 it is out of warrenty. But it is not as common in the 03 as in 05+. Plus it is on 6MT mostly. I am not saying it will not happen on an 03-04 5AT, but it is less likely too.

I say get the 04. PM me if you need anything else.

I don't have to add any oil between oil changes. I've had my 5AT for 5 years.

What kind of horsepower and gas mileage you get with the twin turbos?

I average around 17 most of the time. As low as 12 or so if I'm hard on it for the whole tank. Low 20's for all freeway stuff.
