Help with oil change anyone?

1st time doing it myself. Too lazy to go to the dealership and wait 1 hr.. and the drive there is another 40 mins..

So, anyone have a step by step walk-thru for this?

Do I have to take a wheel of? What about the underbody cover? How many bolts do I have to take off? Can I just jack up the passenger side to get everything done?

Thanks

You should search man, this definitely has been covered. There's even a DIY video!

No need to take the wheel off. Do need to take off under body cover - a dozen bolts hold it in place.

Where is the jack point in the front of the car? In order to place the 2 jacks on the sides I need to jack up the front..

I've changed my own oil on the S2k etc etc.. But too lazy to mess with the G. The stupid underbody cover makes me think twice. 12 bolts and a plastic clip.. Too lazy for all that. Plus the jack point on the front is too deep.

Thinking about purchasing this instead.

If you're too lazy to remove a few bolts, then maybe you should reconsider bringing it to a shop. . .

Agreed.

You do not have to remove the plastic piece. There is a square cutout that shops use to take off the filter and oil plug.

I have ramps very similar to those...purchased at Wally World for about $30. I have had no problems using the ramps for oil and transmission/differential changes.

Threre more then 12 bolts to take off. I use a low profile jack to lift up my car.

Here the videos:
