intercooler...switch out?
i have an 05coupe with an ati procharger kit..the frontmount i have is the one that comes with the kit. its kind of small, was wanting something alittle more drastic....my question is..can i switch out the one i have now, with a larger one?? thanks

i would figure out why its not centered before spending any money on a bigger one!
Bigger intercooler than needed doesnt help performance in any way. If you go wider, then i would get one thats thinner/shorter as well to keep the overall volume and pressure drop the same as stock.

i was wondering the same but ive noticed something. when people put the procharger made for the Z on the G the intercooler is centered ive seen many like that where its a little off to the side and they are made for Gs

i think they off-center them because of the space issue..i think they did mine that way b/c of the aluminum brace on the front of the car...i could be wrong but from what i can tell my fmic now is sitting on it on both sides..so the new one might require me to moddify the brace somewhat...any imput on this?

well plans are for a plenium/exhaust/and headers ive been told ill need a 9-12lbs pully instead so with the new mods the car will have to be retuned...wont retuning make up for the lost psi?
