maintenance question

Just curious to how many of you do maintenance on your car following page by page on the mainenance log that came with the g. example when you reach the 15000 mile page that's when you change your filters. or do you just create your own maintenance log and change your oil or filters, wipers, exc as you feel is needed reason being is if i change my oil every 3000 miles instead of 3750 by time i have 12000 miles i'll be following the maintenance for a 15k service when i have 24k i'll be doing a 30k

Re: maintenance question

I do my own maintenance and record everything in my own log book. I also keep receipts for parts used such as filters. coolant, oil, wipers, and anything else I purchase just in case there's any 'discussion' about maintenance.
The car gets what it needs when I feel the time is right. That's usually sooner than the manufacturer's schedule.
