My friend has an 02 Maxima, and in his 2.5 years of driving, he hasnt once floored his car.

The long term problems it causes are often more related to your wallet than anything to do with the car itself.

No, you will not harm your car by flooring it but you WILL use more gas, you will likely wear the tires out sooner and if you are an inexperienced driver you could likely also have an accident.

I don't see how that is possible. Hell I spun mine today just leaving work because I was trying to pull out too fast - dry road and all.

It doesn't even bounce around a little or anything? If not, what's the fun in that?

It is NO fun. It doesnt slip at all. Maybe other X owners can tell her the car does not slip at all.

You floor it, you get a lot of restriction then a little light blipping on the dash, SLIP SLIP.

Hell, i can BARELLY drift in the winter!

Yep, still grips. I mean, if tis wet, and i push the brake to the floor, give it some gas, and launch it, it will spin a little bit, but its nothing extravagent.
