Hey everyone, today I was driving and heard vibrating under my shift **** after 4500rpms. So i went to see what it was and me and my friend noticed with the hood open when i would let off the clutch and give it some gas the motor would jump about 4-5 inches. Have any of you experienced this. Im gonna bring the car into infiniti first thing on monday.

Also when accelerating hard, the shift **** drastically moves to the right, could this be tranny mounts. Anyone know if this is under drivetrain warranty, I am at 51,000 miles and its a 2003 6mt coupe.

 

Im not sure if the motor mounts are covered... Ill have to look at the warranty coverage on them on Monday...

They arent that much (from me at least)

 

True, I'm gonna be calling infiniti first thing in the mourning to get this figured out. I dont see why motor mounts wouldnt be under warranty, they arent a wear and tear item, right?
