more power after 100mph...?

....so i got into a race today with a nissan altima se-rwith intake exhaust and then talked to him after turns out he works at nissan and said he also sent his throttle body to jim wolf and "there is a sensor that starts to close some gate on your throttlebody after 100 mph as a safety feature...." he said jim wolf makes it so you still get full throttle after 100 mph anyone heard of this???

I don't know about after 100mph, but apparently close to the rev limiter the factory throttle flap closes as much as 20% on the drive by wire system.

According to Technosquare:

"Throught our testing we found, the drive by wire system was program to never fully open (throttle flap) when you smash the accelerator pedal. In fact, it actually closes the closer you get to the rev limiter, by as much as 20%. This restricts air into the motor and causes HP and torque numbers to go down. We have remapped this setup so when you go wide open throttle, the throttle flap fully opens and STAYS open, increasing HP and torque."

Link here (they use the same technology to flash as AAM):

The Technosquare info or the after 100mph thing? 'Cuz the after 100mph thing makes no sense, but the Technosquare stuff seems feasible to me.

The 100mph thing may be just a ricer way to explain the TechnoSquare issue.

But you're right. I've never heard of this...
why would that be a ricer way of saying things??? that back bumper on that pic is too small for that kit lol

The technosquare feature is real and comes with their reflash. I believe it is exclusive to technosquare reflashes. The 100 mph thing sounds bogus to me.

this happens at any speed under WOT according to Shawn (from church automotive). It does NOT make a significant difference maybe 3-5 hp throughout the powerband. Osiris will fix it as OCG35 said.
