The after 100mph thing isn't true. What it is - is the fact that you are pretty high in the RPM range through 4th, 5th, and 6 gears (probably 4K rpm's + on each gear) and the throttle body flap (butterfly) starts to close the closer to redline you get.

The technosquare information is 100% true. But what i just wrote is probably what that guy is talking about.

I don't anyone has confirmed that having the throttle slowly close as the engine exceeds 6200rpms is really a bad thing. The VQ35De intake manifold starts loosing steam at 6200rpms and that doesn't seem to matter whether the throttle is 80% open or 100% open. IMO, it's a safeguard to keep the engine from running excessively lean in the upper rpms.

^^^i just had the Technosquare reflash+dyno tune, i can rev to 7100RPM and i won't lean out... no one should do throttle body mod with out a tune or atleast a basic reflash
