project 2k

hey guys ive been lurking around here for a while but i recently got a pretty large inheritance and decided to build a serious vq35 motor. i have a few questions though.

will a 106mm turbo be big enough to support the 2k hp target that i have set on the block? i have a stock block but it is sleeved and cryo treated also 3/4 filled. we've begun building on the motor, i wish i could post some pictures of it but my digi cam is broken and i've been too lazy to go and buy a new one, and we're stuck on choosing the right turbo for this application. fit or placing is not a problem as i've accounted for that. also i was wondering if the 1000cc injectors that i have are too large or not?

thanks for the help guys i'll take any criticism or suggestions with open ears. you guys know more than me and so far the only people who have been helping me is the shop im using to build this

you think so? i thought the thousands would be well within the limits of the injector, running at like 95% duty cycle? maybe go for something bigger?

i was hoping to keep it single turbo, and a big one at that, would the motor be able to spool something like twin 95's? i dont know how much cfm each cylinder puts out but it may work?

few have made over 1000 with the VQ. Two thousand seems quite out of reach bud.

hmm you sure about that? this shop is claiming to have hit mid thousands and hopes to hit 2k or close to with my motor? i mean the stock block has pretty thick cyl walls so they say, should be able? i hope they are not lying because i have already paid them some

Contact Vinney at VTR. They have come the closest to 2000bhp with the 6sec VQ car they had.
