fuel pump noise
Well.. As I am running speaker wire throughout the whole car, I obviously had to take out all the panels and rear seats. ON my way to work this morning (with everything still out since I have not yet finished) I noticed there was so much noise coming from the fuel pump which is DIRECTLy underneatth the rear seats! Its amazing ho wmuch those back seats take away from all that noise. Its almost complete insulation. Can anybody relate?

Yes I can hear it when walking around the back of the car. Not as well as where you're talking about tho, cuz the pump is near the top of the tank. Seats must do a good job of insulating like you said.

Right dude, It's like it starts and stops. It must cut in and out.
It's different from other Electric pumps I've had. But then the whole car is a gem and pretty rare too .

Ya I hear it all the time too. sometime it's constant and sometimes louder and intermittent. it's on the lower bottom rear. So I guess it's normal?
