Would anyone suggest any other plugs they've used for non-FI setup?

Just go with a good set of NGK's, and change them on a semi regular basis. Every 15k or so.

I think I'll go NGK, until some people try these out. I don't wanna take a risk for 5 hp

So tell me something, is there a standalone yet for G35s/350z? I did some research a while back and found nothing out yet. Its been a couple months, anything else out yet?

Same goes with a power making set up well designed headers.

I will plan to go NA with a g35 or just keep it stock.

Im all about NA, i built a k20R hatchback tuned it made 235whp and 161 tq stock motor. This was all on a dynojet also. Im looking to have a g35 but not be that hardcore, just bolt ons and tuned. I think with some good headers an a good tune a G35 can uncork alot of goood power.

You should know what im talking about with the h22 a while back. No one thought it could do much and that the B series owned it, well look at them now.

Edit: to those making claims that the 5.2whp might be a fluke i can semi agree, but thats a big amount difference from one pull to another.

Plenty of standalones: Haltech, FCon VPro; UTEC is a semi standalone. All of them are good, depending on your budgte, needs, and eventual goals.

Yikes Haltech?? Which is the most affortable Standalone shall i say? LOL Is there anything compatable to hondata? Like a reprogrammed 'hacked' stock ECU like hondata? WHere you can change timing and fuel and all other perimeters that give power in a G motor?

UTEC, probably. Less than $1000. UPREV also sells the Osiris for about $700, which is a one time flash, with 3 maps controlled by the cruise control button, and TechnoSquare just reduced the price of their reflash (not changeable) to $295, I think

Question, can the primary o2 sensor(s) be used as a wideband like with newer honda's? So you can street tune? What is UPREV? Is that a full standalone? Im not really looking for a straight up flash, more so a something i can set a 2 step with, and also street tune.

www.uprev.com for more info. It's more or less a reflash.

2004.5 Z's, and 2005 and later G's have widebands, but they aren't perfectly accurate below about 12.0 AFR; however, you do need something to display it with, which I'm not sure there is anything that is available.

I'd really suggest a Haltech. Yes, it is $2300, but the power and ease of use are incredible. Read some of the Haltech threads on my350z.com for more info.

U probably want to wait for Uprev's end-user tunable osiris software and cipher software (free upgrade to current users when released supposedly as well).

Haltech attaches to a laptop, and uses Windows. Very easy. Uprev might also be easy like that, but no guarantees at this point.
