New to forum and need help

[/B]I have an '04 coupe with intake, test pipes, y pipe and exhaust and for a few months i've noticed that after driving it a while that a knocking sound comes from the engine. Its not loud but its noticeable. The knocking continues through the rpms but after the car is off for about an hour it goes away. I'm concerned that it might be piston knocking (i hope not) but i've changed the oil and i took it to the dealer but they couldn't find anything (what a suprise). I have 73k and done most of the maintenance myself but this got me worried. I just got a greddy twin turbo and i dont want to put it on if i can't fix this problem. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I got the car used when it had 24k and most of the schedule services were done. The knock does get faster as the revs go up. The tuning is being done by ATX and MRC motorsport in Jersey. Thanks for the advice.

Sounds like valve knock to me... but if it's as loud as you're making it sound, perhaps not

Nah after u drive it for about an hour it starts. I driven the car pretty hard to see if i get any reaction from the engine but nothing happens. I don't drive it that hard usually.

So it only occurs when the engine is warm?

EDIT: And if you don't drive it very hard normally, what in the name of Sam Hell are you doing going forced induction????

Yeah, it mind boggling. I flushed the whole engine out and check my oil filter to see if there was anything unusual there.
