Question Choosing engine oil. Help needed.

Hi all!

I need to change oil in my 05’ G35 coupe. And I would like to get an advice from you guys.
I can choose only from 2 brands – Castrol and Mobile1 due to my location.
Can you please advice exactly which oil I should go for in my conditions:
Summer is pretty hot here.. up to +45 C sometimes. Car is for daily driving only – no tracking.
And I don’t want to change it more often than 6-7k miles.
Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Cheers!

I used to use Castrol Syntec 5W30 Before I want to Royal Purple, and now Amsoil.

To be honest with you, they are both very good oils, so I would not worry too much about it.

Also if you plan on running that many miles on it, check the oil every so often to make sure it is clean.

If you run it rough like I used to on my Honda, you may have to change it more often.

Oil Choices....?

I haven't used Castrol since I drove my 280Z. Since then I got smarter and
used Mobil 1 for years without any issues. I'm currently using Red Line 5w/30
synthentic and love it, but I change it more frequently than you intend to!
