as cheap as it is, I consider it a do or dont mod...everyone I know who has one insist that their revs leveled off and their a/c system kick-on effects were minimal (lights dimming) if not gone.

People who dont have them dont see a need obviously.

In theory extra and/or less resistant grounding can't hurt. I wouldnt really invest anymore than the $20-$50 it cost to just get grounding wires, no need for a electric box of any sort unless its there to increase iginition spark for high-rev/power applications.

So if my car has a weak ground at the top of the car but not at the bottom, would a grounding kit help this?

Metal conductivity is measured in ohms of resistance what does the weak ground read vs the good groundmeasure?

The vehicle electrical system uses the battery negative terminal as the reference ground point. Since a good ground is much less than 1.00000 ohms you need a very accurate low range ohmeter.

Actually a microOHM meter would be better with it's ability to read in millionths of an ohm.

^ Agreed.

But...
I'm hearing a few "Grounding Kit's are BS" here and there, and I can honestly say that I personally disagree.

When I installed mine, a "bump" I had coming from the engine when sitting at stop lights 100% went away when I installed gordee's grounding kit.

Also, I noticed a quicker response in the gas pedal - No...not something I'm imagining, trust me, I noticed a difference. Nothing drastic mind you, but noticeable is noticeable, if you get what I mean.

Thanks Guys!
