Motor Oil question

I'm about to get a oil change and I'm thinking about putting MOTUL in this time. What weight should I put in living in Texas where it's about to get hot as f_ck for the next 5 months?

Also was interested in MOTUL tranny fluid if anyone has comments about that.

Thanks!

Not bashing Motul, but I wouldn't use it in my VQ.

Changing Oil....?

Since you live in what might be considered a warm climate like I do may I
suggest using Mobil 1 10w/30 or if you can afford it Red Line Synthentic
10w/30. I wouldn't let it go for 5K miles though, change at 4K to keep your
G35 happy and always use a high quality filter like K&N or Mobil 1!

Yeah so far Ive ONLY used Mobil 1 filter and Mobil 1 oil. not sure what weight though, It's whatever infiniti puts in it. I just request Mobil 1.

But I want to know more about weight of oil. I guess I need a \thicker weight for warm weasther? is this correct? But i want to know whats the thinnest I can use?

thanks!!!
