TS ECU for sedan at

just wanted to know if u guys/girls thought it was worth it to get a TS ECU for my sedan AT even though i only have simple mods: grounding kit, pop charger, z-tube. do u guys know if the chip would do anything significant? i've noticed a lot of people having them but have a lot of major mods on their cars. what do u guys think?

yes it is worth it IMO. for the AT, you will get signifigant gains. the MT is a different story. i am taking my sedan back there sometime soon to redyno with my exhaust. stock, i was making no extra hp. we hypothesized that with an exhaust, the gains would be signifigant. we'll find out soon.

IMHO, it provided a major improvment for my AT Sedan in both power and driveability.

Re: TS ECU for sedan at

where did u guys get it from? i was looking at strictlyz.com and they charge 595. i looked on the Technosquare website and had the sedan ECU at 495. strictlyz.com doesn't have an option of types of ECU's to choose from. so, just wondering, thanks

Re: TS ECU for sedan at

If you plan on doing it yourself (remove and mail your ECU) then just straight to TS. If you are mechanically declined then find a racing shop that knowns Nissan and they can do it direct with TS. Your car will be down for about 3 days when you pull the ECU and send it off.

I dont have a TS but I have the same changes done and it made a big difference to my AT Sedan.

Re: TS ECU for sedan at

BTW, just I got a catelog from steve millen (www.stillen.com) and on page 12, it mentioned about STILLEN VQ-Pro. Basically I think it's a mod similar to TS ECU but this is a seperate unit. No parts number yet. I am curious how it will perform since I can not be without my car for 3 days...
