I read somewhere on here that you have to remove the front bumper and more to put cams in this car. Also if I understand right all you do is shift your power band to the high end (10-15 hp). Not worth in my opinion, but also I have never done this. I believe, with labor and cost of parts, you are coming close to the cost if F/I.

Omfg noobs, cams aint no joke, it's not a small job either, that sh*ts a pain in the a$$ and yes $$ cause it does take alot of $$ to buy and install it too, not small money I was debating this before and in the end I decided to go with supercharger and all bolts on for the best reliability, got all the safety mods so I wont blow either. As for if you want cams over a SC, it's not that simple as you sound, it can be done yet, but in the end are you saving alot of $$ from just going SC?, NO! You're prob just gonna go I should've went supercharger/turbo Cams + Supercharger, now that's another story...

front bumper thats the least of your worries on cam install... it's not a DIY either - unless you build motors for a living (or hard core gear head)

Having that been said - I have been considering cams & headers... will do some tranny stuff next tough - still debating on what if anything more to do with the engine

Front Bumper Ha, Look at this pic of my friends Z. If you think that's a lot missing, there still the Timing chain cover, valve covers, and oil pan that needs to be removed, just to get to the cams.
