How long should I wait before I start modifying my car?

Having an 06 and all with the whole oil consumption problem. I don't want to come further down the road and have that problem and remove them all or give the dealer a chance to blame it on my modifications... I am taking my car in tomorrow for its first 3750 maintenance. How long do you guys suggest before I start modifying it?

Thanks.

HAhahaha, I love the responses. Dropping it off tomorrow for its first maintenance. After that I guess I'll let the mod bug get the better half of me.

i think he meant how long to wait because of the oil consumptions on the rev-ups and possible warranty issues due to engine mods. just sayin'...

You could always do mods which they couldn't blame the oil consumption on. Exhaust, test pipes, rims, bbk, tints, stereo upgrades. There are plenty of things to do

The question is when should you stop modding your car?

You should have bought parts for it before you bought the car.
