Gauge pods?

I think I read that someone was going to release a gauge pod for the G35 in April. Anyone heard anything yet?

Re: Gauge pods?

I'm getting a Lotec one Friday hopefully. They're supposed to be pretty nice. Someone with a coupe sent his A-pillar to Lotec, and they made a piece that's a complete replacement for our A-pillar (no drilling/taping like with Autometer's stuff). It's also supposed to be color matched to the willow, so that no painting is necessary. I haven't seen it yet, but I put my name on the list to get one at IPDG (Import Performance Development Group) out of Fort Worth. Not sure if they have a website or anything though.

Re: Gauge pods?

I called just before I went to pick mine up and was told that they aren't available. They said they didn't know who I talked to that told me they had gotten a shipment in, but that there is only 1 in existence and it's being tested for fitment right now. When it's done being perfected, they will produce a bunch of them, and they'll go on sale. When that is, I have no idea.

Re: Gauge pods?

I called Autometer today, nothing from them yet either. He said the Z pod might fit, but I doubt it. I'm looking into it, I'll let you guys know what I find.

Re: Gauge pods?

I just got on the list and got an email stating they will be done in 4-5 weeks. Check out 350zforums.org. thats where I preordered mine from. I have dealt with David Stoner in the past for my impul kit and he'll hook you up.

Re: Gauge pods?

what would one put in the pods?
oil pressure, turbo boost, etc...
does that mean you would only get this if you have turbo?

Re: Gauge pods?

Meekopeeko- do a search, you'll find that the "4-5 week" wait has been waiting a lot longer than that already. They told me that 4 to 5 weeks ago, so dont hold your breath. Im just going to mount mine in the nav cubby until I actually see a pillar pod on the market.

Awaiting Install

-Polished Crawford Plenum
-Kinetix Cats

Still wont be as fast as my '04 GSX-R 600
