How loud is your electric cooling fan and how long does it stay on?

I did a fan delete mod a while back, and my fan is on a lot with some harder driving, also i notice it stays on forever it seems.

How does your stock electric fan operate for comparison?
How loud?
How long is it on usually?
How often is it on?
at what temperature does your EOM electric fans turn on?

Thanks guys

The orignial mechanical fan moves a ton more air than the electric units. The reason your aftermarket fan stays on longer is because it may not be the correct rating and is not cooling quick enough and/or the ECU doesn't know how to engage both e-fans unless the AC is on.

Did you notice much difference in performance going with the e-fan swap?

I have a dual fan setup, and they do both turn on after certain temperature, drivers unit turns on first at around 204 degrees than the passenger one but its on very rare only if its really hot outside and i drive the car hard

it be interesting to know at what temperature OEM electric fans turn on.

My stock electric fan seems to only go on when I come to a stop after hard driving with the A/C on. Then it only stays on for a minute or so and then turns off again. My problem is it sounds like a propeller airplane getting ready to taking off.

Hmm i thought it was only a problem with my after market units, its loud and its only one fan thats on most times with two on it sounds like a jet.
Do both of your fans come on at same time? And on my fans dont turn on above 25mph.

You know, I am not sure if it is one or two. I figure it is two, one cooling and one condenser fan.

I have aftermarket FAL fans on my AMS radiator. They are a little louder than the stock fans but push a lot more air. They don't come on too often. I did wire them like the oem fans to come full-time on when the A/C is on.

I have 2 Custom 14' Dual Fans It pulls so much voltage my car boggs sometimes and sometimes if it goes on for a bit when my car is off, i cant start it until the fan turns off But as for cooling wise, it's amazing....no regrets at all

They are dual fans. They are not multi-speed like the oem fans. I set up both to come on. I could have done one but since I live in Phoenix the more cooling the better.
