Tapping noise w/ circulated air button
When I cranked up my G today, there was a loud tapping noise almost like a gear was slipping when I turned on the recirc air button. When I switched it to the fresh air button it went away. Almost sounds like a chain slipping on a gear sprocket. Its a loud tap, tap about every second. Anyone had this trouble yet?

I've not heard any issue like that here.
It sounds like a vent door that isn't functioning properly. If it persists, you'll have to get the dealer to look at it. Those functions all run thru the BCM and are vacuum activated.

Got my G back from the dealer today. After about 6 hours of diagnosis for the tapping problem, they finally found it.. Turned out to be the in-cabin microfilter was somehow crumpled up and was resting against the door that opens for the fresh/recirculated air. Took them about 15 seconds to repair it. Thank god it was under warranty!!
