GroundingGear® on 6MT

Hey guys,

For 6MT owners, I would like to see both positive and negative reviews of GroundingGear® kit in performance, MPG, and others you can think of (don't forget to tell what kit you have).

Most of the reviews I've read were from 5AT owners.

Thanks a lot,
JJ

suicidesam and 6 other 6MT guys have my custom kit on their car and have all said that they noticed a difference in throttle response and overall engine smoothness. PM sam and I will try to find the other guy's screennames so you can contact them. If you are interested in a kit, PM me. I am in Corona and the custom install is included.

Here is a recent review of a kit I installed. It was on a 5AT but you get idea of the kit and results.

Good kit and awesome guy installing the kit.

I had Grounding gear, but wanted different color wires. I think, personally, they both perform similarly (GroundingGear v sxexcx's kit) and it comes down to personal preference. I had the cola colored Grounding Gear and changed to sxexcx's black kit. I highly recommend Sean's custom kit and am happy with my purchase.

Sean has pictures of the both kits installed in my dirty engine compartment.

How many wires are in the sxexcx kit, what guage wires is he using, and what kind of terminals? Do they go on the same ground points as the grounding gear ones?

10 wires for AT
9 wires for MT
8 guage wire
Double crimped gold plated terminals that are shrunk wrapped, and insulated with a color matched PVC jacket
The grounding points are not all the same.
