Mexican Gas Pemex
Has anyone run mexican gas in there car? I cross the border several times a week and gas is currently 2.70 gallon in Tijuana compared to 4.75 in San Diego. I know its a lower octane and I see a lot of nice cars driving around TJ so I assume they are using it. Just wondering if anyone on the board has exeperience putting it in there G.

If you see other cars running it that you know have the same fuel requirements as the G, then try it. If the car acts fine and doesn't ping, go for it. But jst incase I'd take some octane booster so you could atleast make it back across the boarder and fill back up with your gold.

I see other nice cars driving around TJ. Beamers, hummers, cadillacs. they must be using the gas. I'm not concerned about the performance decrease if any, I am more concerned about long term damage to the car. I go to TJ because I like it, I like it alot.

i put gas in TIJUAS! its almost same quality! and at GOOD PRICE
around 2.65$ gallon! and its 91 octane! i'm saving alot of money in gas now!
i drive my 2005 G35 COUPe EVERY 3 DAYS to fill up
