P2135 code - reset ecu

The ses light came on and I followed the instruction to get the code yourself, turned out to be P2135 - throttle position sensor. I drove the car for a few days and I do not notice anything different. Called the dealership they want $135 to look at it, and im broke. I reset the ecu to see what would happen and the light is now off. I have driven the car for a few hours and it has not came back on. Is this good or bad, as I am not familiar with Infiniti's / Nissans. If the light does not come back on in a certain about of driving hours is it fixed or does it store in the ecu memory? How much damage might I be doing? Any advice would be great.

Good Work finding out what the code means. If it were me and - the car feels fine and the code does not recur- I'd forget about it. If it happens just one more time, then you own it to yourself, and the G community, to get it looked at.
Maybe fix will improve your fuel eco...
