What's the real problem here?

The symptoms are in order:
1. When starting the car it seems to choke a bit (hesistate) then start and it gets worse and worse each start. The sympton is worse when the car is cold.
2. Power seems to drop gradually, when I had it fixed the first time, the car was like night and day. Very Responsive.
3. Eventually the engine light comes on.

I had it replaced the first time around 15k when the car was only a year 14 months old. Now I am noticing the first two symptoms again and the car has 36k miles at 30 months. The dealership was fine replacing it the first time, but I am not sure that is the real problem if it is happening again. Any thoughts?

 

I am on my 3rd in 56,000 miles.........i hate drive by wire.

 

Mine been fine for the 3 years. I'm at 38K.

 

A good reason to buy Nissan extended warranty.

 

How much does the throttle body cost?

 

It ends up costing around $800 after parts and labor if I remember correctly. It is covered under warranty.

 

You can get the factory reman unit with gasket fo $149 bucks at the dealer.

 

It doesn't cost me a thing since it is covered under warranty.

Does anyone know what causes the problem, or a way to stop it from happening again?
