OBD2 reading?

OBD2 reading?

car went into limp mode...wouldnt rev over 15000 rpm...need to pull codes...got a scanner i just dont know how to use it.. please help! thanks!

15000 RPM? That's screaming... but assuming you mean 1500 RPM, it might be the MAF or MAF connection. But as far as the code reader goes, there are different kinds that work differently. But when you hook it up, it should provide a list of codes, which you then have to look up to see what they mean.

yes yes 1500 rpm...cleam the throttle body and maf goin to scan it today and see what the problem is hopefully nothing major...
