Ughh if this thing actually works like they say then we would all be 500hp G's. Horsepower is not cheap.

What’s included in the kit:
• 1 SLR Motorsports Performance Chip
• 1 Set of easy to read installation instructions
• 2x Quick connects
• 2x Butt Connectors
• 2x Black zip ties
• 2x Pieces of Velcro

Sounds like a piggy-back module to me, not a stand-alone chip.

• Add 50+ HP ( Vehicles with Larger engines
produce more HP)
• Add 50+ TQ ( Vehicles with Larger engines
produce more TQ)

Haha...yeah I could maybe see those gains on a big factory de-tuned emission choked V8 lol, not on our 3.5 V6's. It's very hard to gain decent hp on ours when still naturally aspirated. Custom ecu maps are a must for that...like the uprev mentioned. That's what I'm saving my $$ for...the uprev.

Got $70 to blow? Do it and and do a before and after Dyno too.
This reminds me of the 'plusar plug' thing and the big hp gains they claim just from plugs lol.

not completely, unless you're doing it yourself, you still have to pay for the tuner's time.

he means the e-tunes are/were free... IOW if you ad mods down the road, you send UpRev an email and they send you new flash for current mods for free... I dont think that will last though. Its for existing customers (and who knows what date "existing" will seperate "new")... so if you want free, you might want to get it soon...

I don't think we are really debating here. More like opinions and maybe alternative suggestions.

Thumbs up i have used this chip in 3 of my vehicles and installed it in a few of my buddies car

I've used this product for a couple of years now. I put it in my 07 Monte Carlo SS, my girlfriends 07 Ford Focus and my 08 Dodge Ram quad cab 1500 Big horn edition.

The Monte Carlo SS gained 5mpg better and i would say a good 35hp.

The Ford Focus now gets about 40mpg and it got maybe 10 - 15hp gain.

My Dodge really impressed me! I actually had it DYNO'd just to see what it did. i get 9mpg gain on the highway and 4mpg gain in town. Let me tell you that was huge for my truck! I got a gain of 40hp and 35 torque.

Along with that my friends that have used it are satisfied. I didn't seem to be what they advertised but for the price you really get your moneys worth. All in all you would normally pay about $1000.00 or more, for 100hp upgrade on most vehicles. So to get a gain of 25hp or more for less than $100.00 it's not to bad!

If you are going to buy this chip check Amazon.com, i found it cheapest there.

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions. yesrcapn@gmail.com

Post #1 sounds like a shill to me.

Always remember manufacturers pay US taxes on each car that doesn't meet 28 mpg combined, if they could do anything legal [emissions?] to improve and save $500 -$3,000 to lower the retail price they would. As it is they often fight tooth and nail for a 0.02 MPG improvement because of rounding: 25.49 =25 vs 25.51 = 26
