SLR Motorsports Performance Chip?

Anyone know if this does anything? Most of the time I stay away from these kinds of things, but it was advertised on G35Driver, so it must be true

Anyhow, here is a link.... what do you think?

http://slrmotorsports.com/shop/index...t_detail&p=366

Thanks!

Actually it's a load of crap.

If it's advertised on driver, the only thing that HAS to be done is the advertising fees have to be paid to the website owners.

hey..... i'd buy it even if it only upped my MPG by 3-6 for only 70 dollar chip. i'd be happy, but 50+ horsepower seems a bit generous for a chip. keep in mind it says that 50+ horsepower for all vehicles they offer the chip for in general. its not car specific data

What they don't tell you is that shipping will be approximately 60 days.

Anyone ever use this before? I don't think it will help as much as they say, but maybe even a little isn't bad, heck, costs about as much as an air filter... What's the verdict? Think I should try it out or save the cash?

I'd want to know "how it works" more than "what it does"

If it did what they claim it would be worth a helluva lot more than they are charging... and boatloads of people would buy it... so the price point must tell you something

Shouldn't this thing be on ebay for 6.99??? I remember getting one for my 98 Altima, and that one promised less gains. Don't be fooled into blowing the crap out of your ECU by putting this in.

IMHO the price is just enough for people to try it. If you price something that is totally worthless too high, no one will consider buying one.

That’s precisely my point… that’s why I said if it worked it would be valued much higher and people would buy it (for much more)…

You could try calling uprev. I know for the 03-06 the Osiris reflash is the next best thing to a dyno tune. Their reflash might work for the 07, just give them a call. and if you are close enough (they are in texas) they can reflash your car onsight.

I am thinking of getting osiris from uprev as well. Heard great things about it. The good thing is that reflashes are free.
