What's the Difference?

I go onto Stillen or Import Racing and I see Grounding wires for about $120. Then I go onto ebay and find grounding wires for like $20 or less. What's the difference between the two besides the hundred bucks???

Re: What's the Difference?

it's the branding. borrow a crimper and make your own for under 20.

Re: What's the Difference?

A crimper is a device that attaches the ring connectors to the
wire. Gordon Gee's are perfect, some others are crap.

On second thought, go to the TECH AND MOD section and contact Gordgee. His grounding Gear and is top notch and priced right between to the two figures you showed up top.

2 G or NOT 2 G, there is no question!

Flex, you know better than to send a NEWBIE out to destroy their car like that! =) Next thread would have been, CONNECTED HOME MADE GROUNDING KIT AND SAW PUFF OF SMOKE, WHAT SHOULD I DO. Havok, I'm not flamin, just having a little fun. =)

2 G or NOT 2 G, there is no question!

Re: What's the Difference?

omg, now you probably scared him from even purchasing and installing the damn thing . havok, just stay away from the red terminal post on your battery, and everything "should" be a-o-k. but i take no responsibility to what you do to your car .

and if you read the word adjacent to my name and in my profile, that i brandish "Newbie" proudly.

They are all the same. Gord's are just the cheapest.

Re: What's the Difference?

piaa super rozzas. there are better pics on a black coupe floating around here.

havok, i concur, go with gordon's. if you don't have a friend with a crimper. purchasing a good crimper will cost as much as his grounds.

Re: What's the Difference?

I am sure they all are not the same! Give Gord a break.
I don't see Stillen offering a Transmission wire, or a ECU
and TCU wire. Come on! Gordon has pioneered the
Hypergrounding of the G35.

Re: What's the Difference?

Ok, I'll clarify. Gord's kit get's you the most wires for your money.

If you think more wires under your hood is better, then Gord's kit is better.

If you think less wires under your hood is better, then keep your money.
