Basically, yes. The problem is that we have no idea what caused the battery to drain out and die so abruptly. Hopefully it was just our bad luck and this is the end of it.

im glad you got it all fixed. i was going to tell you that the problem was you needed to do a built motor/twin turbo setup to fix that issue...

I just still can't believe the battery was fine one day and so dead it couldn't even be jumped off the next. I've never seen one die like that.

Glad to hear you got your problem fixed. I remember something similar happening to me. the only difference was mine was becasue I attempted to start my car with a key I had lost about 6 months ago.

mine died like that too...all of a sudden. Although I had one little hint when I noticed a little hesitation on start up the night before but that was about it.

If he's got a voltmeter you can do a quick check to see how much parisitic drain you have while the car is off.

Cheryl, the exact same thing happened to me last summer. Car worked one day, went to start it the next and it was dead. Most likely the battery just hit a bad cell.
