03 G35 Coupe > Performance Chip ?

I have been searching for a Performance Chip for An 03 G35 Coupe, Like the ones you purchase and just Snap in under the Dash, but im having some problems finding One. I hear talk of them having to take out the Computer from my Car and Bullshyt with it then put it Back in. Is that The only Option I Have, Is There No Chip ? Whats going on? is that true?
Shed some Light.

Pretty sure there is no such thing as a "performance chip" that actually does anything on any OBDII cars. Most modern cars you either have to get a power programmer or send it somewhere and have the computer reflashed. I am new to the G scene so I may be wrong, but that's the case with most cars.

No chip. Reflash or access OBDII port.

that chip will do way more damamge than good. usually all they do is trick the engine into tweaking the timing based on the temp of the intake air charge so that you get more fuel. stock parameters are there for a reason and the only safe and correct way to change anything is to have someone reflash who is known well for doing it or some kind of power programmer, much like the diablo you see for a lot of american v8s

That was very helpful. Thanks. I searched up this thread because I just came across the same link. That websiter claims to add 50+ horsepower. But when I thought about it, there aint 50+ horse power lost in our engine. Nissan wouldnt leave THAT much horsepower untapped. Then I looked at the cars that they have applications for. I'm sorry but if you can get 50 horses out of a KIA SEPHIA, I quit!!! LOL.
