The G35 isn't a civic. The clutch is designed for the 280+ horses under the bonnet. It won't be a soft, cotton wool clutch. But, with some technique you can drive them as smooth as you like. You will experience jerking if you just clomp up and down on the clutch. I've had cars with competition clutches in, before, and they are a nightmare on the left leg, but they are designed for that way, with limited slippage, and maximum power transfer. Cars designed for performance, like the G, will have a halfway compromise when it comes to clutches.

6MT Coupe
You've missed the point of this thread. It has nothing to do with what type clutch or the clutch in general.

Anyway, my 6mt is a lot better since switching oil brands. Nuff said.

Yes, it is not cable actuated; it has a hydraulic slave and master (never liked those terms).

I laugh when in 2008 they talk about "notchyness" when back in the 70's I drove Dad's 1964 Impala SS 409HO 4speed on floor on good days, and his 70 chevy van 3speed on shift column on bad days; no THAT was "NOTCHYNESS"!
Hell if you held the clutch down in the SS for more than 10 seconds your leg would start to shake and you would break a sweat! Then you had to pull like hell to get the T10 from gear to gear...
