So after noticing that my new used car's engine was 1/2 quart low, I topped it off with some 5w-30 dino oil...realizing after I did that that I hadn't checked what the previous owner had been using I went and checked the service records. He had castrol syntec 10w-30 put in at every oil change.

My question is, is syntec a full synthetic? I'd rather just use regular 5w-30 dino oil as per infiniti's recommendation, not a big believer in synthetics hype.

 

u must be doin if u think "dino" **** is comparable to synthetic.

i feel like im so.. yeah.. pay the money and go with the best:

royal purple
lucas oils
amsoil


ull pay more yes, but its worth the protection.
