Re: Computer upgrade

I meant is there an upgrade to the ECU? Are we able to better adjust fuel/air rations? Does this Fuel Injection automatically adjust or should I just invest in an AFC?

You may want to finish all your mods, then do the ECU last for a more custom fit.

Re: Computer upgrade

THANKS! Do you have this done? What is the power difference, I couldn't understand his dyno results...where is the HP and torque in foot/lbs.? Was it a significant increase in power?

Re: Computer upgrade

LOL, don't worry about dyno results. When a vendor shows them to you take them with a grain of salt.

I haven't done it yet because I have only begun my mods. First I'm working on intake, then exhaust, then I'll send the ECU in. They will adjust the A/F mixture at the higher RPMs (it's too rich right now), and they will allow the throttle body valve to open all the way, and a few other things but that's the benefit I think will have the most affect. I really don't want them to increase my redline because I belive it's already optimally set.

Making it leaner where it should be should net 3-5 HP I'm figuring.
