What size socket do you need for the connector bolt? I just had a quote of 140 dollars!

where are you located? I'll do it for free just to spite whoever gave you that quote! I think the socket is like a 27mm or something, i can't remember exactly. maybe a 26 or a 24.

I took a look at the ring on mine yesterday and it looked just fine. Not corroded at all. Can it start leaking and still look like there's nothing at all wrong with it?

Just replace the o ring. Went to Nissian and bought the part (FYI part #21304-JA11A). Changed oil while I was @ it. Replaced the belts and cleaned air filter. O ring was a snap. But my problem now is service engine soon light is on. WTF?

***edit*** Reset ECU and light went off.

Did mine yesterday, it was a 22mm. I recommend using a 6 point socket or wrench not a 12 point because the head is very short and could strip. I don't know what the torque is suppose to be so I just snugged it up well.

Make sure you keep the new o-ring and inside the housing and bolt clean from debris, I cleaned the inside of my 22mm socket before using it to remove the cooler.

I just replaced mine, pulled out an orange one, put in a black one. The weird thing is... The previous mechanic installed the old one wrong, It was slightly folded in one spot, causing it to leak.

The whole thing took 10minutes to install.
