1/2" MD spacer install?

Well I installed my spacer today and everything went very good except for the guide pins. I did not see any replacement studs for these and the factory ones will not fit. I finally got the left one to fit but the right one will not fit. What is the solution to this problem? Also is there any way to make the engine cover fit with the 1/2" spacer. I remember reading somewhere that you could inver the rubber washers and make it fit but I have not tried it and I was wondering if it would work.

Thanks

the stock studs should fit fine... take out the grommet (the rubber washers) and re-insert upside down, this gives a little more clearance and the cover will fit.

I'm not sure why you want the cover though... if you are looking to cover some of the wired and timing cover, use a Z-cover (or non-oem half cover)... you can custom cut it to suit the looks you want. Like this:
