Re: Blue Gauge Cluster Mod

Find out what kind of bulbs they're using to get it blue with the orange lens. I have step-by-step pics on how to remove the cluster if you need them.

Is anyone doing a DIY on this? Would love to try it without re-inventing the wheel.

Re: Blue Gauge Cluster Mod

The people that did the mod and posted pics won't/haven't given any information as to what kind of bulbs they used. I was just saying that they were "one way".

Re: Blue Gauge Cluster Mod

Had the chance today to pull the Instrument Cluster out of my car while it is in for a stereo install & we tried several combinations of colored led's with absolutely no luck at all.

I maybe wrong, not the first time this week, but I think someone is pulling our legs with photoshop!

Please make me eat my words & post how you accomplised to change the color of your gauges.

Re: Blue Gauge Cluster Mod

if its a photochop.... then i doubt that they would put in the hotspots and stuff.... someone look at gauge cluster and where the led's line up and stuff and see if the hotspots line up maybe? i guess that would be a REALLY good photoshop if they were the same

Re: Blue Gauge Cluster Mod

yeah it is not a photoshop... its a real pic..... having the same hotspots in 2 different pics is not only hard to do... but why waste your own time and other people's time??
