More accurate question would be how much will i shave off of my 1/4 mile time?
U should shave close to 1 full second with gears + tune including ur mods.
For EXAMPLE:
If u ran 15.1 at a local track bone stock, u should run low 14s with those mods.

thanks klubbheads ypur input is well taken...
I know i running low low14s now maybe high 13's..raced other cars 13sec srt4s and 350z's and have won...and in turn also have lost as well (to 13sec cars) but not probably by a car or on there back bumper.... I would lov eto go to track but FL has had some INSANE HUMIDITY AND HEAT!!! Windows closed ac full blast!

So to sum it up change to a 4.083 gear(s) will have shave off almost .100-1 sec of your 1/4 mile time???

Plus i willl be running a utec and tune trying to wrap it all up

This is the info for all gear sets as far as top speed for each gear. AND a lot more info on all gears plus personal reviews. enjoy
for MT the gears in that thread (4.08) are a good choice... not for AT though - I would not suggest anything shorter than 3.692.

you'll probably be better off with your current 3.3 with TT... the only problem is you dont have LSD...

Does the '07 G35 Coupe work with the other 03-06 G35 Parts?
I'm hoping it does 'cause I plan on selling my '06 G35 Coupe for a '07 G35 Coupe, and I have like TONS of parts in my room. If you guys could let me know ASAP, that'd be awsome.
'Cause I know the G35S has the dual intake and the '07 G35 Coupe still has the single intake.

05-06 G35 Coupe is the exact same as the 07 G35 Coupe, minus small details that don't really matter.

Everything will fit.

Why are you selling your 06 for a 07? Their the same cars.

Im a noob when it comes to rear ends. So this maybe a stupid question. I currently have an 03 AT with LSD. I would like to change out the gears for something taller. Does this mean I have to purchase the LSD again with the new gears or the LSD I have work with the taller gears? Thanks in advance.

Edit: Ooops Sorry for posting on 2 year old post, but a response regardless would be nice.

You mean shorter not taller right? An 03 AT has 3.3 fd, youre not gonna get (or want) taller than that.

What LSD do you have now?... the 3.3 ring gear is thicker than all the others (3.5, 3.7, 4.0 & 1) so you need MT specific LSD... I know when quaife first came out with atb LSD for the g it was AT only and in order for it to fit MT they had a spacer.... that might be an option for you (depending on what you are using)

Yes I meant shorter gears. *hit head. When I purchased the car the dealer told me I had the LSD. This is true as both wheels spin when I get on it. It is an automatic transmission and a 2003 so I must have the 3.3 from what you said ^^. So the changing out the gears don't effect the part of the rear end that makes it Limited Slip right?
