To the O.P, Yes you can sell the car with test pipes, just try to get it traded in at a car dealer instead though, it be easier to sell if you had an exhaust system because you can play it off as that. Besides that don't say anything and test your luck, worst come to worst play stupid, or if anything just tell the truth and if the price ain't right just walk and try another dealer or private sell it HAHA.

I don't think some of you get how this works. I dount anyone is dumb enough to try to get passed smog inspections with no cats (Atleast not in California...not sure how other states work). The point is getting caught drivng around with no cats by the police...now that's a completely different story

thats what i'm considering...... It would be a pain in the a$$ to take them off and wait for someone to send me there oem's and then i'd have to install them myself or pay to get the oems installed again..... and then the trader would have to wait until i get his put on my car and then I could take mine and send them to him......unless someone is local and we both jacked up our cars and did them together....

I tried putting them on and wow...I was better off just paying $200 to get them installed since the bolts are so hard to reach up there and a impact gun was needed and not to mention the tight space only jack stands give you........better off on a lift up in the air 6feet lol

......if it sells privately then i'm not worried about it......and if i trade it in , hopefully they wont notice....or i'll just say i bought it like that and i'm not sure what exhaust it has on it
