Is racing Fuel Good or Bad for our G35
Hey guys I reading other post but I still Didn't find what I was looking for. Well I have heard so many good things about Racing fuel but I wanted to know if its good for our car. I don't race so its not like i am going to be putting it all the time. Just wanted to try it once in a while. I live in Los Angeles so there is a couple of gas stations that have 100 Octane. 100 Octane is the one that I have heard that my people use lot but my question is, what about using 108,114 or even 121 Octane? Will it damage my Engine? I know its expensive but what do you guys think? What is your feedback for guys that have used it? Thanks lot.

Its funny how people would rather poke fun then lend valuable info. I didnt realize that so many nerds drove such a hot car...weird, LOL.
Honestly, maybe you should just put Super in there and mix it with 100 or try an Octane booster.
The higher the Octane rating, the faster the gas will ignite which in general is good. However if it ignites too fast or at the wrong part of your engine cycle, you'll get potential knocking and your car will perform badly...or worse!
If you want to run that other stuff, you have to increase your compression ratio. Octane rating has a direct correlation to compression ratio. Thats why we have to use Super (even though you can get away with plus...maybe..but I wouldnt).

Actually! Since from the factory the car probably was made for 91(cali) the ECU has perfect timing and fuel tuning for that octane, throwing in some higher octane messes with the tune and is probably taking away from the power you are making.
So no, adding in higher octane gas will actually, HURT your power.
