HELP!!! G35 Performance Mods

I just recently decided to mod my g35. I wanted to start on a couple little tweeks that will boost some horsepower for cheap. Anyone have any ideas? So far I think I may get a 1/2 plenum spacer, short ram, and possibly performance chip any suggestions?

if yours is 6MT then get MREV2, 5/16" plenum spacer, JWT popcharger
or if you are willing to spend about 1300, then get a 3.9 FD
or you could do uprev osiris ecu reprogram
or you could get headers and exauhst system
OR YOU COULD PUT THEM ALL IN!!!

can I put the MREV2 and plenum spacer on my automatic 05 g35 coupe? Is the 1/2 spacer better than the 5/16? Sorry Im a noob to the performance world. And isn't the Fujita short ram better? its only about $50 more.

I think you need to do some research then ask questions... i dont mean to sound rude but we have one of these threads a week...

no need for headers, as for the Spacer where do you want the power? the 5/16 will give you power all through out the rpm range the 1/2 will give you more power when in the higher rpms

short ram intake get whatever you like or want to spend none of them really help with power

btw welcome.

no point in puttying MREV2 on a non rev-up engine, just waisting 600
i have an auto aswell
FD means final drive
NA means naturally aspirated
what i am doing is:
jwt popcharger
5/16" iso copper thermal plenum spacer
buddy club race spec condenser(grounding kit with voltage stabilaizer)
up-rev osiris ecu reprogram (osiris reprogram is basically a tune)
and then later on (when i get more money) i will be getting a 3.7 final drive gear

the good thing about up-rev osiris is that when you add more mods, u just resend ur data to up-rev and they send you a new tune and you just upload it on your ecu and your good to go

Sorry this may sound really stupid, but for the Osiris, you have to send your ECU in for a couple weeks right? Meaning you can't drive your car?

^^ no, thats the Utech
the osiris is a software, you can either e-mail your mods to osiris, and they will send you the software, or you can have a shop do it, you upload it into your ecu, and presto! after a couple of weeks with the reprogrammed ecu, the ecu gets more aware and adapts to your mods, then you download the data from your ecu and send the new data to osiris and they will e-mail you a new data which is fine tuning

Also, if you use the 1/2 spacer, you wont be able to put your engine cover back on. With the 5/16 you will. Thats more cosmetic though.

superchargers are entirely too limited. Do it right the first time, and go turbo. You can spend a ton of money on a supercharger, and even completely build your motor, but you're still not going to make great power.

There is no "right" when it comes to supercharging versus turbo. Its TOTALLY up to a person's preference.

There are pluses and minuses with BOTH.
