I am not sure how I want to go I got the plenum for a good deal and it matchs my wheels so thats why I have it but I still have my stock one and I have a buddy who does polishing so it's an option..

how hard is it to pull off the from engine/timing belt cover???
I'm not sure, never thought about what it costs to do. Have only done stuff in the engine bay for free for friends. Can't really see it in the picture but most bolts around the engine bay are all ARP. Plenum and 12mm are the exception since ARP doesn't really make 12mm and the plenum holes are too small for the flared seat ARPs. You don't want to know what that cost to do, but OCD and all the bolts match in style and markings. lol

Timing cover is not too hard. Off and back on in 3-4 hours if it was a time constraint. Just a little messy since the oil pan has to come off.

all that polish is nice on a show car. on a car that DD, you'll be spending more time for upkeep than you do driving. Polished Al oxidizes very quickly and needs constant attention.

good luck.

I daily my FX, my commute is 100 miles a day. I have not seen any of my polished aluminum oxidize. There is some upkeep involved for sure, it's just like owners that take really good care of their paint.

Some materials are harder requiring more buffing. The better the buff and clean job the better the high polish. Steel parts are chromed, so the coolant pipes and othe rstuff liek that are chrome. My front timing cover isn't as well buffed as John, and Martys. Some stuff also take more abuse than others. No wheel well liner FTL!!!! It's better now since we enclosed the engine bay but still gets pretty dusty from daily driving it.

Sup Mike. I owe you the cup holder thing. Will be at AE on Saturday morning if you want to pick up?

We're headed to Excelerator Car Show at the Silverwood theme park 9/6/08 Never been to Idaho so not sure where Boise is in relation.

I think you measured that in R-rides time, for normal human beings it would take an entire day
