any N/A mods that do give decent gains to our G?
I want my g to be a bit quicker, I bought the stillen intake and plenum spacer.
But i hear some bad reviews about both and niether giving any gains..
Im now thinking of buying high flow cats cause they sound promising.
Are they any good , any dynos to prove the gains?
Id love to go f.i. but cant afford it .
But i need some more ***** from my G.

intake's more for sound... may help you rev through the RPMs faster, witch makes it "feel" faster. spacer's good though. HFCs are nice for high end. any mods on the VQ are better after a reflash/tune.

Test pipes and high flow cats give decent gains. Exhaust will help out too
Best thing is to get a reflash/tune

Too many people jump into this game without basic maintenance, and exit early with a broken (driveline/engine/wallet).
My 2004 X picked up 12-15wtq over baseline with this package:
* Motordyne 5/16" copper iso thermal spacer
* UpRev e-tune (send in your AFR logs after each mod)
* HKS Sport muffler
* Blitz SUS power filter (stock size, stock box)
Best run to date: 250.2whp, 262.8wtq
Worst case for performance (20% AWD driveline loss) gives 300hp/315ft-lbs at the crank. Best case (25% loss) gives 312hp/328ft-lbs at the crank.
And for an $18k (used) AWD sedan with $2k of modifications, those gains are not bad at all. I recently worked with UpRev to tweak the maps.. probably due for another dyno run soon.
Exhaust (HFC, etc) is one of the last modifications to make to the VQ in my opinion. These are not high-compression FI systems with too much backpressure looking for a new home. Buy a nice sounding muffler (hard to go wrong with HKS) if you want sound.

test pipes and a tune... best thing you can do..
If you get a full exhaust---> Headers all the way back + a tune that should give you easy 15-20- whp.. W/ spacer and intake probably 30 whp
Key word: Tune
Did I mention "tune"?
