Ooops What did I screw up now!!

Lately my car has been dying as soon as I start it, unless I push on the accelerator. So after a bunch of feedback I decided to clean my Throttle Body.

I took everything off, started the car and started to sparay the throttle body, when I decided to manually work the butterfly valve the valve clicked and the car started to idle really rough. I thought this was because I was spraying in the cleaner, anways cleaned the whole body and had the car stall a few times, but got this done. I turned the car off to reconnect the maf housing and air intake when I went to start it the car started and was idling very rough the CHECK ENGINE, VTC OFF, SLIP lights came on. When I stepped on the accelerator nothing happend, if I put the car in gear then it dies.

Does anyone know what I might have screwed up.............. For the time being I have disconnected the battery to reset the computer and will retry in an hour but I hope I didnt screw up my TB or sensor.

you touched the butterfly valve..

thats where you screwed up..

>.< you're not suppose to touch the butterfly valves on these electronic throttle bodies.. consider it done and go look for a new or used one

you probably just needed your idle readjusted (any nissan or infiniti dealer can do it) to fix the car dying upon start up. its a common problem for the VQDE but the throttle body was a big nono =(

Okay so I did a quick reset on the ECU using the battery disconnect and brake pump method as well as the ignition method and everything seems to be working fine (fingers crossed) I am going to take it for a quick drive down the freeway to see what happens.
