first what is the best brand to get and what type to get. and how do you install them?

Defi is the best IMO. I installed a boost, oil temp and EGT guage in a custom A-pillar pod.

Im still up in the air about gauges myself. For now Ive got the AEM wideband A/F with an autometer boost gauge. I havent really been able to find any gauges with everything I want. The autometer has it all and matches the AEM, but isnt a very "sexy" brand. Everything that looks good (greddy is my favorite aesthetically) is in bar, which I dont like. Not really a big fan of Defi, but really its all just personal preferrence, most of the big brands all have good products.

Do you think that your AF guage is accurate or is there a difference once the car warms up?
